As children, everyone had their own dream, such as becoming an astronaut or building a treehouse. Like our today’s hero, who all his childhood dreamed of arranging life in a cave, and he succeeded!
Angelo Mastropietro spent more than £160,000 to make the cave, which is over 250 million years old, comfortable and suitable for cozy living.
Prior to these events, the man was the head of an Australian company that recruited personnel. But he was burdened by stressful work situations and routine. Plus, Angelo was diagnosed with a serious diagnosis – multiple sclerosis, so he decided to move away from society, to a healthy and clean environment, but not to forget about communications.
The man spent his childhood in the city of Worcestershire, where there was a huge and very, very old cave, people lived there in the 40s, but over time the place remained abandoned.
The father of two children got together and decided to take a successful step towards his dream. Angelo purchased the site of an abandoned cave for £62,000 and began to create the layout and design of his new home!
Before the cave turned into a modern dwelling, the man dug up 80 tons of stone. Drilled an 80-meter well. It took more than a thousand hours and a huge budget to equip the rock house, but the result was worth it!
The bathroom was originally dug and equipped in the house, but Angelo realized that it was not rational to heat such a volume of water and converted it into a shower room, which turned out to be incredibly beautiful!
All the walls of the house are painted white, in combination with modern decor elements and at the same time a cave room, it looks bewitching!
