The bride astonished the guests by showing up at the wedding in a police van in an English city.
Alisha Brierley, age 23, attended her wedding on September 24, along with her mother and bridesmaids. The limo carrying the women abruptly broke down in the middle of the trip. There were still 50 minutes till the ceremony started at that point. The bride started to stress and cry as she feared being late and disappointing the groom and guests.
Brierley’s friend Sarah-Jane immediately decided to act. She looked around and realized that the car had broken down not far from the stadium where there was a football match that day. The woman saw the police van and ran up to it. She told the police what had happened and asked for a ride with her bride to the church.
“The cops were great. They insisted on helping. It’s not quite the limousine that I planned, but who else can say that he got to his wedding in this way, ”recalls Brierley.
As a result, the bride managed to make it on time. The groom and guests were very surprised that she arrived on such an unusual transport.
