The story of Quaden Bales has recently spread all over the world. A 9-year-old Australian boy with dwarfism (dwarfism) became a victim of bullying at school. It got to the point that Quaden, in despair, confessed to his mother that he no longer wanted to live.
He was born quite healthy, but over time his parents began to notice that the baby was not growing. His tiny hands and feet remained as small as before. Doctors threw up their hands – no one is immune from such a pathology.
Quaden has a hard time. After all, a lot of attention is constantly focused on him. Even adults often look at him with surprise and mockery.
Experts advised parents to try to socialize the boy as much as possible so that he does not feel his difference from others. And all their efforts were directed to successful adaptation in society. And to give his son at least a little more happiness, his parents bought him a dog.
He, by the way, also turned out to be not ordinary, but dwarfed. Quaden and Buddy became best friends, and the boy’s psycho-emotional state really improved.
This was followed by millions of words of support from people around the world who helped Quaden not to give up and believe that his peculiarity could not prevent him from living like an ordinary person.
