On the morning of Tuesday, July 23 in NY, a 37-year-old woman in labor became a mother of four babies at once. A resident gave birth to three boys and one girl.
Before that, doctors from the Perinatal Center of the NY Medical University had been vigilantly monitoring the woman’s condition for a couple of months. Doctors even had to artificially delay childbirth for three weeks. After all, the babies wanted to be born at the thirty-second week of pregnancy.
The crumbs were born by Caesarean section. The total weight of the quad is only seven kilograms. The “thinnest» boy weighs five hundred and forty grams. But the girl’s weight is almost one and a half kilograms.
Immediately after the birth of the boys and the girl were immediately taken to the department of pathology of newborns. While they are still very weak, but the kids breathe on their own. It is not yet known when they will be discharged.
It is curious that the New Yorker became a mother for the first time. And immediately she managed to give birth to four children. Moreover, as it is recognized, the woman did not undergo the procedure of in vitro fertilization (twins are often born after IVF).
