Little Bobby learned the sorrows of life within a few days after birth. His mom was hit by a car and the tiny chihuahua puppy was left without care, protection and, more importantly, without milk. It may sound a little sentimental, the animal was incredibly small, weak and defenseless, so as not to use diminutive epithets. However, Bobby was lucky and he was accepted into a strange family.
In fact, all this was the idea of the young and lazy employees of the Michigan Humane Society, an animal shelter. It is very difficult to feed a creature that fits easily in the palm of your hand every few hours through an eyedropper, and other worries about Bobby were troublesome. Maybe Gwen the cat will take this job? She just recently had kittens, full of milk, and Bobby is so small that you can’t tell the difference from a kitten, plus he will sleep in a common ball and keep warm.
The cat’s foster mom ignored the initiative of the people — while they were discussing how to more delicately convince her to feed the puppy, Gwen had already placed it among her kittens and began to lick it. A few days later, the puppy was almost indistinguishable from kittens, literally became part of their family. We ate together, slept, learned to open our eyes and stand on our paws.
Everything was going so well. Still, Bobby is like a dog, and as he grows up, he will need to be positioned, looking for new owners, as for a dog. Even a chihuahua. But how will Gwen overdo it with her care and grow up some kind of cat – a cat’s soul in a dog’s body? Therefore, when Bobby got strong enough, he was carefully removed from the cat family and transferred to the dog department of the shelter. Thank you, Mama cat, but let her learn to bark, not meow!
