47-year-old Svetlana Kovalevich and her husband, Peter, are real record holders. The couple has 19 children, with a difference between the eldest and youngest sons, at 27 years old. The Kovalevich couple both come from large families. Svetlana has 7 brothers and sisters, and Peter was one of 15 children of his parents. Both believe that children are a gift from God and therefore do not promise to replenish in the future.
A large and friendly family lives in the Rivne region, in the village of Glinnoye. The woman gave birth to her first son at the age of nineteen and now her four eldest already have their own children, Svetlana’s grandchildren. The number of them is the same as her children, 19. The woman gave birth to all of them herself, without surgery. The youngest, Nazar, was the first to be seen by his father, who was next to his wife in the delivery room.
Svetlana says that she has endured the last few pregnancies a little more difficult. She feels tired faster, but it’s easier for her because the children are trying to help in everything. There is no jealousy and selfishness in their large family, the children are friends with each other and take care of the younger ones.
In addition, there are a lot of livestock on the farm and each child has his own worries about the house and the household. And they celebrate someone’s birthday almost every month, by the way, Nazar was born on Dad’s birthday.
