As often happens: a man is lying on the street. He may be elderly or dressed very poorly. In most cases, none of the adults will be interested in what happened to this person.
Usually such people are considered drunkards or vagabonds. Nobody cares about them. Therefore, they are crossed over or bypassed. Children are more empathic in this sense.
A pensioner was lying in the mud. 10-year-old Yana decided to approach him and ask what was wrong with him. She asked the man if he was all right. But in response, the schoolgirl heard something inarticulate.
Yana ran home and told Dad about what she saw on the street. The girl’s father went to look. After making sure that the pensioner was really ill, Dad called an ambulance.
Later, Yana and her father found out that her grandfather had a stroke. Besides, he didn’t remember anything. With the help of the police, they found out that an elderly man had recently left home and got lost. His relatives have already lost their feet, searching for his grandfather. They thought they wouldn’t be able to see him alive anymore.
A couple of days later, Nikolai’s memory returned. He remembered not only his family, but also the girl who came to his aid. The doctors contacted the grandfather’s relatives and his daughter came to him.
