Not all superheroes wear tights and raincoats, some are very unsightly in appearance. Especially if you are a simple shepherd from the Australian Queensland of advanced age — the dog Max is already 17 years old. And the whole Australia admires his simple, but so important act.
This is Max. He is 17 years old, an old dog who lives in Queensland.
And this is three-year-old Aurora, the granddaughter of Max’s mistress. Last Friday, she disappeared in bushland — the girl was wearing only a T-shirt and shorts when she got lost among dense thickets.
The search for Aurora by police and volunteers lasted 15 hours, but led to nothing.
The next morning, Aurora’s grandmother, Laysa Bennett, heard strange noises, and then saw Max. The dog led her to the top of one of the surrounding hills, where little Aurora was found.
The girl was unharmed, although she was scared. There are wild animals all around and it rained all the previous night. But Max was with her, who warmed and protected the child.
The dog is already deaf and half-blind, so he did not notice the search group. But with the dawn he brought help, for which he was awarded universal praise. Moreover, he has been awarded the official title of honorary police dog!
And although the incident is not unique, Max’s heroic act touched the users of social networks and they are still discussing it.
