According to petsdailynews, Leilani Wong was in a rad tri with her husband and dog when they stopped at a gas station in St. Clement, California.
Wong noticed a happy little dog sniffing about her car as she waited for her husband to fill up the tank.
Wong told The Dad, «I spotted her walking around the gas station and she stopped in front of our car and was just staring at me. And I’m pounding my hand against the wind while asking my husband, ‘Are you seeing this?’ Then she began circling my husband around the vehicle.
The day was anting and it was 105 degrees outside.
Wong started asking nearby residents if the gas was connected to anyone, but it turned out that the gas station was a popular resting place for stray animals.
She gave the dog and water because the dog refused to follow the woman. It was obvious that the dog was either severely mistreated or heartless because of how appreciative she looked for the simple act of kindness.
Wong and her husband gave the dog the name «Aia» and made the decision to keep her with them in their RV until they could locate a shelter that would take care of her.
She was simply frightened, nervous, and hesitant the first night her husband and I slept in the car, according to Wong. «Eating was the only thing she would do.»
Aia had completely grown attached to her adoptive parents by the time they returned home to Washington. Wng remarked, «She’s like a little magnet.»
Wong took her to the vet for a comprehensive examination and began administering accinatins, expecting her to be administered. However, Aia and Wong’s siblings were becoming so close that they were unable to stand to separate them.
Months later, Aia is still unable to comprehend how to behave in social situations or what to do when given a gift or treat. But she is showing her mother how lovable and vivacious a person she can be more and more every day.
Her initial personality was quite shy, fearful, unsure of herself, and unconfident, according to Wng.
«However, her personality right now is quite loving, cuddling, and attached to your head. She is there with you, so you can’t even enter another room.
She’s the best woman I’ve ever had, I tell everyone,» Wong said.
