A few years ago Richard Wiese, host of the TV show Born to Explore, visited the Abbotsbury Swannery kennel in the UK.
During this visit, the man accidentally came across a wonderful swan, which surprised everyone not only with a show of gratitude, but also with boundless confidence.
This moment went down in history as one of the most moving contacts between man and animal.
Wiese, along with other members of bird organizations, visited a swan nursery.
They were determined to help the adults in a difficult period of rehabilitation.
The swan that Wiese was about to pick up was injured when it hit the railing, according to ABC News.
The TV presenter tried to create conditions in which the bird would feel comfortable during transport.
To his surprise, he succeeded.
Here’s what the presenter had to say about the incident:
“When I took the swan in my arms, I felt its heartbeat.
He relaxed and curled his neck around mine. »
That this is actually surprising is the real truth, because swans are known not to be the most affectionate animals.
These birds will certainly defend their nests if a person approaches them.
But this swan showed no aggression when Wiese hugged him.
The bird realized that she was completely safe in her savior’s arms, and she felt so comfortable that she sincerely hugged Wiese.
