9-year-old Ryan Hickman proves by his example that even at such a young age it is possible to take care of the environment. To this end, he organized Ryan’s Recycling Company, a waste recycling company.
At the age of three, Ryan got to the marshalling yard for the first time. He took garbage there with Dad. It was interesting for the boy to observe the process taking place at the enterprise.
After returning home, the child told his parents that he would go to the neighbors, pick up their garbage, sort it and send it for recycling.
Mom and dad were glad to hear from their son that he wanted to do such an important and useful thing.
For 6 years of work, Ryan was able to collect and recycle more than 500 thousand bottles, while he earned about 10 thousand dollars.
The boy collects money for his education. And he also dreams of buying a truck so that he can collect more plastic.
The young businessman admits that he does this not for profit, but in order to reduce the ingress of bottles into the oceans, because of which marine life is dying.
In addition to the main business, the boy started producing T-shirts and directs all the profits from their sale to charity. And Ryan was also appointed ambassador of the Pacific Marine Mammal Rescue Center.
